Khem Beach is a long fine-grained sand beach located in Phu Quoc, in the South of Vietnam. It stands out for its vast and idyllic stretch of white sand, lined with palm trees. The warm turquoise water further adds to the charm of this beach, making it a lovely paradise.

The best way to get to Khem Beach is on a scooter. Phu Quoc has a very long and wide road along the west coast that allows you to cross the whole island. You can leave your vehicle here for free. Just walk towards the sea, and you will reach the beach. Google Maps might send you through some giant private resorts that you cannot enter, so be careful when using the application in that area.

If you fear driving in Phu Quoc, several bus lines can take you to this destination. Ask your hotel for the bus schedules. You could also book a taxi on the app 'Grab'.

The sea can be completely flat or have gentle waves, depending on the weather. The beach can be very windy, in particular during summer. The color of the water is a stunning bright blue, adding to the beauty of the scenery.

There are some beach bars and restaurants along the beach (a bit expensive) where you can eat and have a drink. They provide some facilities such as sunbeds, umbrellas, kayak rental, swings, hammocks or beach volley court among others. The shade is ubiquitous, so you can easily take shelter from the sun.

Some parts of the beach are private and belong to resorts. However, in 2023 there is still a free access area for everyone. Some construction works still occur in some sections of the beach, while others look very new and empty.

It’s a lovely beach that can be destroyed soon because of the current excessive construction, like many beaches on the island.
