Plakaki beach is a very unknown spot near Chora Sfakion. The rock formations divide the small beach into three even smaller beaches that stand out for their natural beauty.
It’s located 3 km east of Chora Sfakion. The roads are good so you can easily get there even with a Fiat Punto. You can leave the car in the dirt parking lot that we indicate at the parking section.
The beach is pebbly, while the sea has a special bright blue color due to the minerals in the area. You will also find a beautiful cave/beach that is interconnected with the sea.
Plakáki beach is not popular at all, you will only find a few locals there. However, you should know that this area is mostly nudist; in fact, on the beach next door (to the east), there is a "naturist club".
It’s a hidden gem, it’s worth a visit.
