St. Nicholas Beach is a picturesque destination known for its golden sand and crystal-clear waters. This beach is well-equipped for tourists, offering a variety of amenities and water activities.
How to get there
It is located in the southeast of Zakynthos, about 25 minutes by car from Zakynthos town. The roads are quite good, so driving should not be a problem.
You can park in this parking lot (here). During high season and peak hours, you might have trouble finding a spot.
St Nicholas beach
It is a fine sand beach, 200 meters long, perfectly equipped for a comfortable stay. There are several restaurants nearby, as well as restrooms and sunbeds and umbrellas rental service for €15 per set.
At the beach, you will also find several options for water activities and the possibility to play beach volleyball.
At the far end of the beach is the Agios Nikolaos chapel (here). From there, you will get a beautiful view of the beach with the mountains in the background.
It is very close to the popular Banana Beach; however, in comparison, it is quieter and cuter. Even so, the noise from the boats and the music from the bar can be a bit annoying, depending on your mood.
The most notable feature is the chapel.
