Mandrakia Beach is a small and picturesque pebble cove known for its crystal-clear waters, peaceful atmosphere, and a swing hanging from a tree. It offers a natural and serene, ideal for those seeking a less crowded place to relax and enjoy the sea.
It is located in the north of Zakynthos, in Agios Nikolaos. It will take you about 45 minutes by car from Zakynthos town. The road running from north to south is perfectly paved, however, as you approach the north, it becomes somewhat narrower.
There is no parking as such. On the sides of the main road that crosses the village, you will find some spots where you can leave your car. However, Agios Nikolaos is quite a busy place as it is the starting point for various excursions to Navagio and the departure port for boats to Kefalonia.
It is a beautiful beach and a great alternative after a boat tour or if you are waiting for the ferry to Kefalonia. Nevertheless, it is not a must-do.
