Dragon’s Eye is located in Dugi island, the biggest one of the zadar’s archipelago. It’s a pool created by the erosion of the limestone rocky shore. The depth is more than 10 meters and there are two small tunnels that connect it with the sea (these tunnels are deep). Being so deep allows you to jump into the water from the highest border of the hole.
The location. is shared above. We strongly recommend leaving the car here if there is space, or else at bahía Brbinjšćica. There are not many spots to be honest. The roads are good. After taking the exit from the main road, you will drive through a narrow road, but you can make it even with a Fiat Punto.
If you park the car at the first of the locations we mentioned, you will see a narrow path (satellite view of Google Maps might help you). Follow it and after 5 minutes you will have reached Dragon’s Eye.
There are no kiosks nearby so better you take your water and food with you. You will not find shade either.
You can’t miss the charming bahía Brbinjšćica , or the impressive Golunbinka’s cave. Get further information on this post.
It’s crazy how erosion has created this place, it’s a present of nature.
