The Izcagua viewpoint is a set of three protruding platforms offering views over the Izcagua ravine.
How to get there
It’s located in the northwest of the island, about 1 hour from Los Llanos and 1 hour and 30 minutes from Santa Cruz de La Palma by car. The LP-1 and LP-114 roads are in good condition, so getting there shouldn't pose any problem. There are several parking spaces next to the viewpoint, and if those are full, you can find more nearby.
Viewpoint of Izcagua
The area surrounding the viewpoint is lush with vegetation, including pine and almond trees. In spring, the blooming almond trees add a splash of color to the landscape, making the viewpoint an ideal spot to enjoy nature and tranquility.
Alongside the viewpoint, there is a zip line that crosses the ravine (nothing extraordinary. Price: €25, €18 for residents).

Next to the viewpoint is the Puntagorda Farmer’s Market, which offers a wide variety of fresh, local, and artisanal products. The market has a warm and authentic atmosphere, reflecting the rural life of the area.
