    Phu Quoc, Vietnam

Even though beach tourism may not be the most striking feature of Vietnam, Phu Quoc is the ultimate place for it in the country. Despite the entire coastline being heavily developed, you will find incredible white-sand beaches where you can relax.

For a chill vibe while checking out Phu Quoc's main attractions, we recommend you to spend between two and three full days on the island. Below are the must-see highlights:

While diving sites are scarce in Vietnam due to overfishing pressure, Phu Quoc is one of the few destinations worth mentioning for diving in the country.

The underwater life lacks megafauna such as sharks, turtles or rays. Even the colorful tropical fish are unusually small. However, the coral reefs are astonishingly beautiful, and you will get to swim among large and colorful sponges and corals. Additionally, you may find some octopus or squids.
