Kedrodasos is a spectacular beach in Crete located in the southwest, 1 hour and 30 minutes from Chania, and just a 10-minute drive from Elafonissi. Typically, people head to Elafonissi without knowing that this other beach exists. However, in recent years, its popularity has increased.

It is mostly frequented by locals. The beach has white sand and clear water. Unlike Elafonissi, it features a wooded area with twisted juniper trees that provide shade.

The road to get there is not paved, but it's in good condition; even with a Fiat Punto you can manage it. There is a space where you can park the car, although there are not many spots. It's a 5-minute walk from the parking area to the beach.

Some areas of the sea are rocky, making it an interesting spot for snorkeling (keep your expectations lower, remember that you're in the Mediterranean sea).

If you like camping es un lugar ideal. De hecho, encontrarás varias tiendas de campaña, en la mayoría de los casos, de  locales.

It's an untouched beach that has been barely altered by human activity. Unlike Elafonissi, you won't find beach bars, water sports, or any type of amenity. However, it has gradually gained more fame, so if you truly want to be in a remote spot during peak season, we recommend heading a couple of kilometers to the east, around the area of Ekklisia Agios Ioannis

If you've made it to Elafonissi, you should visit Kedrodasos, it's right next door! Besides, it's less touristy than Elafonissi.
